A Day in May (well, actually June)

An annual tradition at St Joseph’s, every May we celebrate “A Day in May” to raise money for Challenge.

All funds raised are directed towards the Musical Moments Trust, which provides funded scholarships for pre and primary school aged children, who have cancer or a life-threatening blood disorder. The scholarships provide these children with opportunities to access music based activities such as music therapy sessions, musical instruments or music and dance lessons.

On this day students come dressed as a pop star or wearing yellow, the colour of Challenge. We have a musical day which includes a talent show and a cupcake stall.

We are very proud of the generosity of our wonderful school community and the way our students get behind this important cause every year.
